To the NOUN 2023 graduates
Congratulations on completing your studies at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN)! This is a significant milestone that deserves to be celebrated.
However, we have received some concerning news regarding some graduates’ eligibility for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has informed its graduates that there has been an issue with the inclusion of some names on the graduation list sent to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), which may prevent some from processing their certificate.
NOUN is working with the NYSC to resolve the issue and ensure that all graduates are duly listed.
Graduates affected by this issue are implored to visit their study center counseling units for rectification.
NOUN management assures affected graduates that they are committed to resolving the issue and will keep them updated on any developments. The list of those affected by this issue can be downloaded below.

The list of students above are those who convoked during the 2023 Convocation whose details cannot be uploaded on the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) portal for issuance of Exclusion Letter.
In view of the above, the students whose name appeared on the attached document are urgently requested to contact their centre before the close of work Thursday 6th April 2023, to provide their information in the format as shown below:
i. Matriculation Number
ii. Full Names which should not contain abbreviation and not more than three names in this order (Surname, First Name and Middle name)
iii. Date of Birth in this order (dd/mm/yyyy) e.g 31/12/1980
iv. State of Origin
v. Phone Number
vi. Gender
Please note;
1. This information is for the attached 2023 graduates ONLY and failure to meet up with the above stated date, your NYSC exclusion letter will not be available for the next batch.
2. Graduate(s) not in the 2023 Convocation List and whose record is not in the NYSC portal can send an email containing their details as stated in I-VI above directly to [email protected]
