Cancellation of grades for online facilitation

The Vice chancellor of NOUN announced few days ago via zoom that there would be 10marks attached to the online facilitation for students that attends the online meetings.

The vice chancellor however, has cancelled the 10 marks attached to Online class attendance for some technical reasons like unavailability of Internet to some of our students in the rural areas.

Time schedule of the lectures colliding with official duties of some of our students like nurses and those in force.

As an ODL institution that comprises of students who works and learn.

It will be a cumbersome for them leveraging the mandatory online class and work, it should be at their own Convenience.

The school still wish to maintain their goals which is learning at any place at your pace.

This development does not stop the online classes, it’s just no longer mandatory, and the 10marks is no longer attached to it.

Kindly share to your colleagues and have a nice day 🤝
