What are the requirement to study nursing in NOUN?

  To apply for direct Entry Bachelors of Nursing , 4 Years Programme approved and accredited by the National Universities Commission and the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, the admission requirements  for Nursing in NOUN is listed below:

 Candidates intending to enter the BNSc. degree must have the following qualifications;

  • Five (5) credit passes in not more than two sittings in WASCE, GCE, NECO in the following subjects :

  1. English Language

  2. Mathematics

  3. Physics

  4. Chemistry

  5. Biology

 

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwifery Certificate(s) of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

  • A valid practice License issued by the Nursing or Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

  • Must have six months working experience and letter of attestation from current place of clinical practice.

Once you have all the above listed credentials with you, you can apply and study nursing in NOUN.
